ManchesterRole Summary:We are seeking a creative and talented Menswear Designer to join our team based in Manchester, UK.

The ideal candidate will be fashion obsessed with the ability to demonstrate a keen sense of taste and aesthetic judgement.Key Responsibilities:Responsible for creating authentic designs from research and concept presentations through to final product along side the CEO.Focusing on enhancing the details, fabrication and construction of timeless silhouettes and co-ords, ensuring everything is truly original and tastefulCreate technical drawings and specifications for productionManage sourcing requests to suppliers i.e., fabric and trimManaging the organisation of the fabric and trim libraryPartner with Production and Product Development on supplier allocation, costing obstacles , and quality adherence.Attend weekly fit sessions giving input into design details whilst assisting the garment technologists with any CADs needed on the back of changes for fit commentsPreparing monthly release CAD boards for displayPreparing design and sign-off meeting note packsUndertake and compile competitor shop reports and seasonal/monthly trend reportsComplete inspiration researchRequirements:Completed Fashion Design qualification (degree level)Minimum 5 + years’ experience in a similar roleExperience working for/with high-end tasteful retailers is essentialExceptional levels of taste and aesthetic judgement is essentialConfident using Adobe Software (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)Highly organised with good time management skillsWillingness and flexibility to adapt ways of working to meet brand requirements and deadlinesA confident individual with the ability to individually present work to a wider team
