Job Summary:

The Barista & FOH role at Bridee is responsible for preparing and serving a variety of coffee and tea drinks, maintaining a clean and organized work area, serving pastries and processing guest payments, as well as engaging with guests to ensure a welcoming atmosphere. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee and food, a strong attention to detail, the ability to create high-quality beverages consistently, and has a friendly and engaging personality. 

Responsibilities:

• Provide elevated customer service and hospitality
• Prepare quality coffee beverages
• Take guest’s orders and serve pastry items 
• Maintain knowledge of baked goods and retail offerings
• Handle cash and other payments quickly and accurately
• Maintain cleanliness of the bakery including clearing tables, sweeping floors, and wiping down counters

Requirements:

• Must be able to remain in a standing, stationary position more than 75% of the time
• Must be able to move about inside the café space
• Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
• Frequently moves food service inventory and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to work a variable schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Your experience:

• High school diploma (or its equivalent) 
• Previous Barista experience required
• Previous specialty coffee experience preferred 
• Previous customer service and cash handling experience required
• Food Handlers Certificate a plus
• Barista training such as Latte Art, coffee profile a plus
