BMC Recruitment Group are partnering with a high‑growth financial services and technology business to recruit a newly created Auto‑Enrolment Pension Manager.The business has a substantial and well‑established pensions proposition and is now focused on expanding its Auto Enrolment and workplace pensions offering.

This role has been created to ensure the Auto Enrolment operation is fully compliant, operationally robust, and ready to support future growth.This is a key leadership position, combining Auto Enrolment expertise, regulatory oversight, operational management, and people leadership.What’s on OfferCompetitive salary remuneration range between £46,000 to £50,000 inclusive of a bonus Hybrid working (office‑based initially, then 3 days office / 2 days home)33 days annual leave including bank holidays (increasing with service)Enhanced pension contributionsFree on‑site parkingClear career progression and development opportunitiesSupportive, values‑driven working environmentThe RoleAs Auto‑Enrolment Pension Manager, you will take ownership of the end‑to‑end delivery and compliance of the Auto Enrolment function, ensuring high service standards, strong controls, and positive outcomes for employers, members, and stakeholders.You will lead an established team, working closely with senior colleagues across the business to ensure the Auto Enrolment operation is efficient, scalable, and well‑positioned to support increased market activity.This role offers visibility, influence, and the opportunity to shape how Auto Enrolment operates within a growing organisation.Key ResponsibilitiesAuto Enrolment Operations & ComplianceEnsure all Auto Enrolment activity is delivered in line with current legislation and regulatory requirementsOversee enrolment, assessment, re‑enrolment, and ongoing AE processesOwn SLA performance, quality standards, and operational controlsManage incidents, breaches, complaints, and root‑cause analysisIdentify and implement process improvements to strengthen controls and service deliveryLeadership & People ManagementLead, support, and develop the Auto Enrolment teamSet clear objectives, conduct regular 1‑1s, and manage performanceEnsure training, capability, and engagement remain highEmbed a culture of accountability, quality, and continuous improvementStakeholder CollaborationAct as a senior point of contact for internal stakeholders and third‑party partnersSupport the wider business as Auto Enrolment activity continues to growAbout YouProven experience in Auto Enrolment and/or Workplace PensionsStrong understanding of Auto Enrolment legislation, compliance, and operational deliveryExperience leading or supervising teams in a pensions environmentComfortable operating in a regulated financial services settingConfident using KPIs, SLAs, and MI to manage performanceHighly organised, analytical, and detail focusedCandidates without direct Auto Enrolment ownership may still be considered where they bring strong pensions operations and leadership experience.
