Facilities Associate

We are seeking a dedicated Facilities Associate to help maintain charter school facilities and ensure smooth daily operations.

In this role, you will be responsible for the upkeep of a multi-story school building, performing routine cleaning, deep cleaning during breaks, and responding to facility requests.

Key Responsibilities

Daily Cleaning & Maintenance

Mop, dust, vacuum, clean restrooms, wash windows, and sanitize high-traffic areas.

Deep Cleaning & Special Projects

Perform deep cleaning, waxing floors, and assembling furniture during school breaks.

School Support Tasks

Assist with school movement projects and facility-related requests from staff in a timely manner.

Restocking & Supply Management

Ensure restrooms and supply closets are stocked with necessary materials.

Trash & Waste Removal

Collect and dispose of trash and recycling from common areas.

Exterior Upkeep

Sweep sidewalks, remove snow as needed, and maintain outdoor cleanliness.

Light Repairs & Maintenance

Handle minor repairs and facility upkeep as needed.

Requirements What We’re Looking For

Experience

At least 1 year of custodial, janitorial, or facility maintenance experience (Required) Skills

Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage tasks efficiently Physical Ability

Comfortable with lifting up to 40 lbs, standing for extended periods, and performing physically demanding tasks Work Ethic

Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team Education

High school diploma or GED (Preferred)
