Our collaborative approach places experienced professionals in high-impact roles, helping our clients to navigate complex challenges and realise strategic outcomes.Role OverviewAlbany Beck is growing it’s Change & Transformation practice and are looking to hire a Junior PMO Analyst, to work on an immediate deployment onsite with one of our largest Banking clients, based in Birmingham.

This role is ideal for someone with early experience in Project Management or Business Analysis, looking to build on their skills within a structured PMO function.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting reporting, financial tracking, and delivery oversight, with a strong focus on data analysis and insight generation.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport Project Managers and Programme teams with day-to-day coordination and delivery activitiesAssist in maintaining project plans, milestones, and delivery trackingSupport governance processes and ensure adherence to PMO standards and frameworksProduce regular programme reporting and dashboardsPerform variance analysis across budgets, timelines, and resource plansAnalyse project data to identify trends, risks, and performance insightsSupport the preparation of materials for stakeholder and governance forumsSupport tracking of project financials, forecasts, and actualsMaintain accurate data across PMO tools and reporting systemsAssist in reconciling data and ensuring consistency across multiple sourcesCommunicate effectively with stakeholders across Business, Technology, and Change teamsSupport the coordination of meetings, actions, and follow-upsProvide clear and structured updates on project status and progressKey Skills & ExperienceExperience in a PMO, Project Support or Business Analysis role (or strong relevant internship experience)Strong analytical skills, particularly in variance analysis and data interpretationHighly tech-savvy, with the ability to quickly learn new tools and systemsStrong Excel skills and familiarity with reporting toolsAbility to work independently and manage own workloadExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalDesirable ExperienceExperience with TM1 (IBM Planning Analytics)Exposure to financial tracking and project budgeting processesUnderstanding of project delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid)Personal AttributesProactive and self-motivated with a strong attention to detailStructured and organised approach to workCurious and eager to learn within a delivery-focused environmentConfident working with data and translating it into meaningful insightsStrong team player with the ability to collaborate across functions
