Salary: $135,000 - $170,000 + Bonus

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the project development team on strategy, contracting, and project acquisition.
- Serve as the primary liaison with the capital markets team and outside counsel to manage real estate deliverables for project finance due diligence and closings.
- Draft, review, and negotiate leases, easements, purchase agreements, and other site control documents.
- Conduct title reviews, analyze surveys, and oversee title curative work for project development and finance.
- Support M&A transactions by managing real estate closing deliverables and conducting due diligence inquiries.
- Provide real estate legal support for permitting, interconnection, and offtake opportunities during project development.
- Perform detailed due diligence on real estate-based information, including title documents and UCC searches.
- Resolve process roadblocks and document procedures to facilitate project acquisition.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to minimize legal risks while driving projects to completion.
- Manage and oversee multiple contracts throughout the project development lifecycle.
Must-Have Skills:
- Juris Doctorate (J.D.) and licensed to practice law in at least one state.
- 4+ years of legal experience in commercial real estate, with renewable energy industry expertise.
- Project Finance Experience.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- In-house renewable energy experience.
- Strategic thinking with the ability to identify and manage legal and business risks.
- Experience with title curative processes and UCC searches.
- Knowledge of permitting and interconnection processes in renewable energy projects.
