WHERE THIS ROLE SITS:
- Hybrid in Fort Mill, SC
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
- Act as the primary resource for benefits administration, providing clear and timely responses to employee inquiries and managing enrollment workflows with precision.
- Utilize advanced Excel skills to analyze benefits data, identify discrepancies or trends, and generate detailed reports that support decision-making and strategic planning.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams and external vendors to enhance benefit processes, facilitate smooth open enrollment periods, and deliver consistent employee communication and education.
- Assist with benefits integration during mergers and acquisitions by auditing data, reviewing plan structures, and ensuring alignment across business units.
- Work in partnership with HR Technology teams to maintain data accuracy across systems, optimize Workday and Empyrean (MAP) platforms, and streamline benefits-related processes for efficiency and accuracy.
BACKGROUND THAT FITS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience; 3–5 years of recent benefits administration experience with a strong focus on data analysis.
- Advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and IF statements are essential; hands-on experience with Workday and other HRIS platforms like Empyrean (MAP) is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze benefits data, identify errors, and collaborate with vendors to resolve issues efficiently.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional, customer-oriented approach to addressing employee benefits questions.
- Experience working with union populations is a plus but not required; willingness to learn union benefits administration is important.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
