Automation Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented Automation Developer/Analyst to join a growing Data & Development Team at a leading financial services company. In this role, you’ll identify process inefficiencies and design automated solutions using Microsoft Power Automate , Azure Logic Apps , and other tools. This role sits at the intersection of business and technology—ideal for someone who enjoys solving real-world problems through scalable automation.

What You’ll Do

• Build, test, and maintain automated workflows using Power Automate and Azure Logic Apps
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to define requirements and identify areas for automation
• Manage CI/CD pipelines and deployments in Azure DevOps
• Support process documentation and change management using ServiceNow or a similar ITSM platform
• Act as a liaison between business and technical teams to ensure successful rollout of automation
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues, including occasional after-hours support as part of the release cycle
• Use your financial or operational knowledge to drive compliance and efficiency

What We’re Looking For

Required:

• 2+ years of hands-on Power Automate experience
• Experience with Azure Logic Apps and Azure DevOps
• Understanding of workflow automation , version control, and the software development lifecycle
• Strong written and verbal communication skills — ability to run meetings and present technical solutions clearly
• Familiarity with ServiceNow or other ITSM platforms
• Experience in a financial institution or operations-focused technical role
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Preferred:

• Experience with Jack Henry SilverLake or other core banking systems
• Familiarity with REST APIs , JSON , and connector development
• Exposure to Power Apps , Dataverse , PowerShell scripting , or SharePoint automation
• Understanding of banking compliance standards
• Experience supporting teller systems , wire platforms , or loan origination tools
