Key Responsibilities:
• Litigate patent infringement matters in U.S. District Courts and before the PTAB.
• Support Federal Circuit appeals and engage in related antitrust and trade secret claims.
• Participate in strategy development, discovery, and trial preparation.
• Handle depositions, motion practice, and client advisory under partner supervision.
• Maintain a target of 2,000 billable hours annually (pro bono eligible).
Qualifications:
• 1–3 years of experience in patent litigation (district court and/or PTAB).
• JD from a top-tier law school with strong academic credentials.
• Solid foundation in U.S. patent law and federal litigation procedures.
• Admission to the California Bar preferred (not initially required).
• USPTO registration a plus but not mandatory.
Skills:
• Strong written and oral advocacy skills.
• Excellent legal research, issue-spotting, and analytical capabilities.
• Detail-oriented with a high standard of work product.
• Able to manage multiple assignments and meet tight deadlines.
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
