Job Title: Automotive Motor/Drivetrain Design Engineer

Location: Onsite - Mossville, IL

Duration: 12 Months of Contract with possibility of extension (Long term position)

Schedule: Mon-Fri

Pay Rate: $45 - $50 Hourly on W2 (Paid Weekly)

What You’ll Do

As a Design Engineer, you’ll be the driving force behind Motor Systems. You’ll take charge of Design Solutions for drive systems.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• CAD design and detailing
• Teardown follow-up and analysis
• Research, design, develop, manufacture, and test tools, engines, machines and other mechanical devices.
• Research and analyze customer design proposals, specifications, manuals to determine time and cost feasibility to complete projects.
• Investigate equipment failures and difficulties to diagnose faulty operation and make recommendation to maintenance crew.
• Assist drafters in developing the structural design of products using tools, equipment or software.

Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications:

• Modeling and drawing tools - Creo/SolidWorks/NX
• Drivetrain Component Design
• Teardown/Benchmarking

Education and Experience:

• 3+ Years of experience
• Minimum Bachelor's Degree

Minimum Qualifications:

• 3D Modeling tools
• Rotating components

Travel Requirements:

• No travel

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

• Office Environment
