Human Resources Director

An established Houston-based company is looking for a seasoned HR Director to head up their human resources operations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a deep understanding of payroll and benefits administration, and is ready to lead a small but impactful HR team.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead and manage a team of 4 HR professionals across payroll, benefits, HRIS, and generalist functions
• Drive the execution of day-to-day HR operations while partnering with executive leadership on long-term strategy
• Oversee compliance with all relevant employment laws and ensure company policies are up to date
• Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing through Paycom
• Serve as a trusted advisor on employee relations, performance management, and organizational development
• Play a key role in shaping and aligning HR initiatives with broader business goals

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree required
• SHRM-CP certification preferred
• Hands-on experience with Paycom is essential
• At least 7 years of progressive HR experience, including leadership roles
• Strong background in payroll, benefits, and HRIS management
• Proven track record of developing and mentoring HR teams
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
