Transport Engineer

Job Details:

• Project Management experience
• Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, etc.)
• 1–2 years of experience in Ethernet Backhaul ordering and provisioning
• 1–2 years of experience in circuit and project management databases

We are seeking a Transport Engineer to support detailed engineering for network augments. The successful candidate will:

• Develop specifications required for the installation, turn-up, inventory, and configuration of equipment.
• Obtain appropriate approvals, issue purchase or transport service orders, and create diagrams/drawings.
• Ensure all work aligns with engineering, financial, planning, and operational standards.
• Define cable requirements, generate cable running lists, and order necessary cables.
• Update the central Network Inventory Database to reflect all changes including new builds, additions, and decommissions.

Must-Have Skills:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to multitask and manage high work volume

Education: Degree not required

Work Model:

• Onsite in Alpharetta, GA office 5 days a week during training (2–3 weeks)
• Hybrid after training (currently 2 days/week onsite, subject to change)
