Join Our Team as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist in Lakewood, CO!

Summary: We are seeking experienced and dedicated Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) to provide locum coverage for our facility in beautiful Lakewood, Colorado. This role is essential for filling gaps in our schedule through August 2025. You will be working in a supportive inpatient setting that caters to a range of surgical needs including orthopedic, general, neurosurgery, and urology procedures.

Job Responsibilities:

• Administer anesthesia under the supervision of an anesthesiologist.
• Perform epidurals and manage patients throughout the anesthesia process.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient care.
• Work flexible shifts of 10, 12, and 14 hours, starting at 7 AM.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using the EPIC electronic medical record system.
• Provide coverage during weekends and handle any available shifts throughout the month.
• Respond effectively to anesthesia-related emergencies as needed.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CRNA, including experience with epidurals.
• Current certification from the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
• Valid and active Colorado nursing license.
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications.
• Clean malpractice and background check is mandatory.
• Must be available to commit to 6-8 shifts per month starting July 2023.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Active Colorado Nursing License - Required for emergency temporary privileges.
• Valid NBCRNA Certification - Required.
• Current ACLS and BLS Certifications - Required for credentialing.
