Coverage Needed: August 18, - Ongoing

Shift description: Physician is not required to be on-site while providing Call Support

Call Details:
Call Type: Beeper
Call Response Time Required: 30 minutes
Phone Consults: 7 per 24 hours
Call Ratio: 1
Patients Seen: up to 6 per 24 hours
Admissions: 2 per 24 hours

Requirements:
Board Certified
BLS, NRP
Active North Carolina license
Clean Malpractice/NPDB
Fellowship preferred

Required Procedures:
Ventilation Management
Invasive (ETT)
Non-invasive (BiPAP/CPAP)
Use of nitric oxide (iNO)
Chest tube insertion
Evaluation and management of acute volume/BP issues
Insertion of Central Line, Arterial Line, and PA catheter
Diagnostic/Therapeutic taps
Lumbar puncture
Paracentesis
Thoracentesis
Nursery Level II/NICU

Assignment Details:
Temporary privileges available
Inpatient Practice Setting
Level 2 nursery
EMR system in clinic and Hospital: Paragon
Support staff: Hospital staff and Market Director, Manager and Practice Manager will be available
Patients Per Shift: 6
Bed In Department: 6
Rounding: all newborns/NICU
Temporary privileges available
