Gastroenterology Assignment with Full Hospital Support - North Carolina

Practice Setting:

• Mix of inpatient and outpatient care
• 86-bed hospital with full support services
• RN and MA team on-site; no APP supervision
• Full access to endoscopy suite
• General GI, bread-and-butter cases with advanced procedures

Schedule:

• Coverage includes clinical hours plus beeper call
• Call response time: 30 minutes
• Block scheduling available - ideal for work-life balance
• 3+ phone consults daily, 3 admissions per shift
• Assigned and unassigned patient rounding

Procedures and Cases:

• Required: ERCP, EUS, PEG, liver biopsy
• Full upper and lower GI endoscopy scope
• Includes variceal injection, polyp excision, small bowel biopsy
• Therapeutic and diagnostic ERCP
• High procedural autonomy with hospital resources

Requirements:

• Board Certified in Gastroenterology
• BLS required
• North Carolina license required

Credentialing Requirements:

• Standard timeframe: 60-90 days
• Temp privileges available for qualified physicians
