Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring a full-time Guest Recreation Supervisor to join our team at Tenaya Lodge at Yosemite in Fish Camp, California As a Guest Recreation Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of the guest recreation department and ensuring guests receive the highest quality of service.

What will you do?

• Provide information about the facilities, local hikes, attractions, and entertainment options, and guide guests on hikes and activities
• Train and schedule recreation team members to ensure the team is properly staffed to meet guest demand
• Create daily agendas to ensure all work is carried out efficiently
• Ensure the cleanliness, safety, and sanitation of all recreation equipment and facilities
• Maintain inventories of equipment, inspect for wear and tear, and perform maintenance tasks
• Operate company vehicles for transportation across the property as needed

More about you

• Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience required
• Minimum of 1 year of previous supervisory experience required
• Ability to lead, problem solve, and operate in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• A valid driver's license

Physical requirements

• Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time and bend and stoop frequently
