Payroll Accounting Coordinator, TD Garden

The opportunity

Delaware North Sportservice is searching for a full-time Payroll Accounting Coordinator to join our team at TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts . You will be responsible for comple ting payments and control ling expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices. You will also collaborate with team members to prepare weekly and monthly operating results.

What will you do?

• Ensure the payroll complies with local, state, federal, and company policies
• Partner with managers to ensure all team members are paid accurately
• Act as a point of contact for team members who have questions about their pay
• Process union dues deductions and prepare check requests for payment
• Review and process purchase orders and invoices in the accounts payable system for approval

More about you

• Prior experience in payroll accounting preferred
• Knowledge of g enerally accepted accounting principle s and practices
• Above average Microsoft Office Suite skills and computerized accounting skills is require d
• Strong guest service orientation, with a focus on accuracy in handling confidential information

Physical requirements

• Ability to understand and take appropriate action on all payroll-related issues
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including excellent Excel skills
• Beneficial to have proior work experience in a payroll or accounting position
