What You'll Do
- Deliver comprehensive outpatient services under the guidance of the Acting Primary Care Director.
- Serve patients with diverse and complex medical needs in both on-site and telehealth formats.
- Help advance the mission of IHS to raise the physical, mental, and spiritual health of Native communities.
- Participate in culturally informed care, respecting the traditions and values of the Navajo people.
What We're Looking For
- Certified Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Minimum of 6 months recent practice experience - in the last year
- Active, unrestricted state license & DEA (Schedules II V)
- BLS certification and ability to meet IHS health requirements
- Ability to pass the security clearance requirement and no outstanding, delinquent federal debt
- Culturally aware, compassionate, and collaborative providers
Assignment Details
- Schedule: Monday Friday, 40 hours/week
- Duration: Flexible (minimum of 13 weeks to 12 months with option to extend)
- EMR: RPMS
- Start Date: As soon as credentialed
- Location: On-site in Chinle, AZ with possible coverage at surrounding clinics
