Toast is building an all-in-one restaurant platform that helps restaurants operate efficiently, increase sales, engage guests, and retain employees. The Finance Strategy & Analytics (FS&A) team seeks a Senior Manager to oversee financial planning systems related to budgeting, management reporting, and Board reporting. The role involves designing and executing scalable financial planning and reporting systems, working closely with Finance leadership, including the CFO, and collaborating with Accounting, Business Intelligence, IT, and Business Systems teams. The individual will lead system integration efforts to deliver insights and support strategic decisions.

Responsibilities

1. Leadership

• Own Toast’s Adaptive Planning system, ensuring optimal performance.
• Develop and drive the long-term systems roadmap, including support, enhancements, and projects.
• Collaborate with third-party vendors for support and implementation.
• Build and lead the FP&A Systems team, recruiting top talent and providing leadership to inform strategic decisions.

• Maintain data integrity within Adaptive; manage integrations with NetSuite, Workday, and other systems.
• Partner with various teams to enhance system integration and architecture.

• Understand stakeholder needs and drive system enhancements and process improvements.
• Develop scalable tools for budgeting, forecasting, and reporting; create dashboards for KPIs.
• Implement financial models for P&L and cash flow management to improve predictability.

• Provide ongoing support and training for finance and other stakeholders on Adaptive.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 10+ years in financial systems, analysis, forecasting, or budgeting, preferably in high-growth or consulting environments
• Deep expertise in Adaptive, with solutions architecture experience
• Experience with NetSuite, Zip, Workday, Greenhouse integrations
• Advanced Excel skills, including large data sets and financial modeling
• Strong relationship-building and stakeholder influence skills
• Excellent communication skills for senior leadership
• Effective project management, organized, independent, self-motivated
• Creative and critical thinking in fast-paced environments

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA
• SaaS or FinTech experience
• Knowledge of Snowflake and SQL

Compensation & Benefits

Competitive salary range: $145,000—$232,000 USD, determined by experience. Total rewards include salary, bonuses, benefits, and equity. Learn more at Toast Benefits .
