Audax Group is seeking a Director or Vice President for Generative AI Strategy & Advisory to work with over 50 Private Equity portfolio companies. The role involves identifying, evaluating, and implementing Generative AI solutions to drive business impact.

Key Responsibilities

• GenAI Strategy & Business Alignment:
  • Act as a trusted AI advisor to portfolio companies, guiding executives on AI opportunities and risks.
  • Identify high-value use cases for Generative AI aligned with strategic priorities.
  • Develop AI adoption roadmaps and frameworks for AI transformations.
  • Provide guidance on GenAI-related investments, including ROI analysis.
• Third-Party AI Vendor & Partner Management:
  • Identify and manage third-party AI consultants and vendors.
  • Serve as a liaison between portfolio leadership and AI experts.
  • Stay updated on emerging AI vendors and technologies.
  • Cultivate partnerships with AI providers and research institutions.
• AI Education & Change Management:
  • Educate executives on Generative AI fundamentals and capabilities.
  • Lead workshops and training sessions to foster AI literacy.
  • Develop AI playbooks and case studies to share best practices.
• Internal Collaboration & Value Creation:
  • Work with investment and portfolio operations teams to integrate AI strategies.
  • Identify AI-driven optimization opportunities across portfolio companies.
  • Support AI-influenced decision-making in deal sourcing and due diligence.

Required Experience

• 4-7 years in AI consulting, strategy, or digital transformation roles.
• Experience in AI-focused consulting practices (e.g., BCG Gamma, McKinsey QuantumBlack).
• Ability to track and recommend emerging AI technologies and vendors.
• Experience in driving AI adoption and managing stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant technical field or in Business, Economics, or Finance with exposure to AI/ML concepts.
