Position: Manager, Yield Foundation

Duties: Translate and co-own business problems within one’s discipline to data related or mathematical solutions. Identify appropriate methods/tools to be leveraged to provide a solution. Share use cases and give examples to demonstrate how the method would solve the business problem. Provide recommendations to business stakeholders to solve complex business issues. Develop business cases for projects with a projected return on investment or cost savings. Translate business requirements into projects, activities, and tasks and align to overall business strategy and develop domain specific artifact. Serve as an interpreter and conduit to connect business needs with tangible solutions and results. Identify and recommend relevant business insights. Support the understanding of the priority order of requirements and service level agreements. Identify the most suitable source for data that is fit for purpose. Perform initial data quality checks on extracted data. Generate appropriate graphical representations of data and model outcomes. Understand customer requirements to design appropriate data representation for multiple data sets. Work with User Experience designers and User Interface engineers to build front end applications. Present to and influence the team and business audience using the appropriate data visualization frameworks and convey clear messages through business and stakeholder understanding. Customize communication style based on stakeholder under guidance and leverage rational arguments. Guide and mentor junior associates on story types, structures, and techniques based on context. Educate others on data quality awareness. Profile, analyze, and assess data quality. Test and validate data quality requirements. Continuously measure and monitor data quality. Deliver against data quality service level agreements. Manage operational Data Quality Management procedures. Manage data quality issues and lead data cleansing activities to remove data quality defects, improve data quality, and eliminate unused data. Determine user accessibility and removes or restricts user access as needed. Interpret company and regulatory policies on data. Educate others on data governance processes, practices, policies, and guidelines. Collect and tabulate data and evaluate results to determine accuracy, validity, and applicability. Support the identification and application of statistical techniques based on requirements. Apply suitable technique under direction from leadership. Assist in the planning, design, and implementation of an exploratory data analysis research projects. Understand existing statistical models and identify and recommend statistical models based on hypothesis. Write queries and analyze data to identify patterns, trends, outliers, and correlations. Conduct statistical analysis and build basic statistical models using relevant packages/software suites. Understand, articulate, and apply principles of the defined strategy to routine business problems that involve a single function. Build, maintain and enhance effective internal and external partnerships through demonstrated integrity; clearly draft valuable information and seek input in return. Influence outcomes and assist in communicating shared goals with diverse groups by linking their interests to that of the business. Identify and address additional partner needs and educate them on value creation. Utilize online tools to assess the impacts of online advertisements and run ad hoc report for management. Utilize programmatic ads, search engine ads, and other types of ads to promote marketing initiatives. Consult on the appropriate use of cookies to track users' browser history and to evaluate the effectiveness of online campaign initiative. Demonstrate knowledge of how advertisers run campaigns. Analyze potential risks from any illegal advertising programs to protect the social media platform. This position does not supervise employees.

Minimum education and experience required: Master’s degree or the equivalent in Data Science, Machine Learning, Computer Science, Mathematics, Operations Research, Economics, Statistics, Marketing Analytics, Information Systems, or related area; OR Bachelor's degree or the equivalent in Data Science, Machine Learning, Computer Science, Mathematics, Operations Research, Economics, Statistics, Marketing Analytics, Information Systems, or related area and 2 years of experience in yield management, pricing strategy, business analysis, business planning, database management, optimization, or related area.

Skills required: Experience designing and developing end-to-end data pipelines to integrate data from multiple source systems. Experience implementing ETL procedures and loading data into centralized tables, views, or data warehouse as target systems using programming languages, including Python and SQL, and ETL tools, including Funnel.io, Tresure data, or Informatica. Experience designing, building, maintaining, and optimizing interactive and analytical dashboards using Tableau and Looker. Experience performing complex operations, data analysis, and validations on multiple data sources across Google BigQuery, SQL Server, and DB2 using stored procedures, scheduled queries, and advance SQL functions, including Windows Function, CTE, Joins, and Subquery. Experience analyzing Web or App related business Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and providing recommendations and insights which can be used to influence strategic decision making. Experience utilizing API calls and web scraping technologies in Python and App Script environments to collect and consolidate data for statistical analysis. Experience performing statistical analysis using hypothesis testing, regression, classification, and clustering. Experience designing and implementing new data schemas and managing centralized labelled data stores to ensure they are best data practices compliant, easily discoverable, and reusable. Experience working on social campaign managers to extract and analyze data through APIs or ETL tools and gather actionable insights, optimize campaign performance, and drive data-driven results. Experience with performance optimization for Tableau or Looker dashboards to ensure dashboards perform efficiently with optimizing queries, managing data sources, optimizing data loading, and implementing efficient calculations. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.

Salary Range: $111,966/year to $216,000/year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location) and Stock equity incentives.
