Investment Funds Associate – Elite Am Law 50 firm
About the Position:
We are working with a preeminent global law firm that is actively seeking an investment funds lawyer (5+ yrs) to join its prestigious practice in Chicago as an associate. This Chambers-ranked practice group closes more than 2,000 fund investments for the world’s leading investors each year, and assists numerous fund sponsors in forming investment funds of all types.

Responsibilities:
· Represent clients, including private fund sponsors, on formation and structuring of investment funds
· Work with sponsors to establish and operate domestic and international private investment funds, co-investment and other related investment vehicles and separate account arrangements
Qualifications:
· 5 or more years of experience with investments in, or formation of, domestic and international private equity, real estate, venture capital and hedge funds
· Experience with secondary transactions, structuring separately managed accounts, and structuring carry vehicles preferred
· Top academic credentials
Location:
Chicago, IL (Hybrid)
Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $310,000 – $390,000.
