Georgia-Pacific is hiring aGeneral Manager to lead and transform our EarthKraft Mailers business—a high-growth venture within our Packaging & Cellulose segment. With manufacturing operations at three key locations—Jonestown, PA, McDonough, GA, and Tolleson, AZ—this position provides an exciting opportunity to drive innovation, operational excellence, and customer success in sustainable packaging solutions.
As General Manager, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our vision tohelp the world shift from plastic to paperby applying Georgia-Pacific’s unique capabilities and fostering a culture of safety, reliability, and innovation. Reporting directly to the Senior Vice President of Commercialization, you will have full P&L responsibility and the autonomy to lead a high-performing team, develop and execute strategic roadmaps, and deliver exceptional value for employees, customers, and society.

What You Will Do
Strategic Leadership
- Lead the EarthKraft Mailers business to achieveoperational excellence, innovation, and customer successin alignment with ourvisionandprinciples.
- Develop and execute strategies tocommercialize new products,scale new production lines, and drive transformation across the business.
- Collaborate across Georgia-Pacific/Koch to identify and pursue growth opportunities while fostering a culture ofentrepreneurship and accountability.
Operational Excellence
- Establish a culture of safety and reliability by implementing disciplined systems, driving continuous improvement, andconsuming fewer resourceswithout compromising quality.
- Oversee efficient and sustainable operations across our facilities in Jonestown, PA, McDonough, GA, and Tolleson, AZ.
- Ramp up new lines and ensure smooth integration of innovative products into production.
Customer Success
- Buildmutually beneficial relationshipswith customers by providing outstanding service, speed-to-market, and thought leadership in sustainability and recyclability.
- Position EarthKraft Mailers as a partner customers can rely on for innovative, high-quality, and sustainable packaging solutions.
- Understand customer needs, design experiments, and scale successful initiatives that drive both customer and business success.
Innovation Leadership
- Spearhead the development and scale-up ofnew and differentiated sustainable packaging productsthat are valuable to customers and environmentally beneficial.
- Lead the industry in innovation by transitioning the world from plastic to recyclable, paper-based solutions.
Financial and Talent Accountability
- Take ownership of the P&L and drive sustained profitable growth in EBITDA by executing strategies that combine efficiency, innovation, and customer focus.
- Attract, develop, and retain top talentto build a high-performing and entrepreneurial team aligned with our PBM principles.
- Mentor future leaders and foster a culture of self-actualization, empowering employees to achieve their full potential and make principled contributions.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Significant experience in manufacturing leadership or a customer-facing commercial leadership position.
- Proven ability to lead teams to deliver operational and financial results.
What Will Put You Ahead
- Expertise in B2B sales or customer-facing leadership roles, particularly in packaging or paper-based products.
- Knowledge of packaging operations or direct experience in paper-based flexible packaging.
- Demonstrated success in launching and scaling innovative products to meet customer needs.
- Strong expertise in contracts, negotiations, deal execution, and integration.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline; advanced business education (e.g., MBA) is a plus.
