We are seeking a results-oriented Enterprise Business Development Director to join our team and drive large-scale corporate partnerships for our electronics recycling operations. This role focuses on securing multi-site accounts and working with enterprise-level clients to advance their sustainability goals through ITAD processes and circular economy solutions like e-recycling and IT Asset Decommissioning. The ideal candidate for this role has extensive experience operating as a focused hunter with a proven track record of beating sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Enterprise Client Identification and Outreach:
- Research and identify large corporate account targets and multi-site organizations with significant end-of-life electronics and non-software IT assets that need to be responsibly disposed of or recycled.
- Build a consistently growing pipeline of prospective enterprise clients through strategic outreach and network connections, including calls, emails, and high-level presentations tailored to control points and decision-makers within IT, Asset Management, ESG/Sustainability and Corporate Procurement functions.
Strategic Relationship Management:
- Develop and maintain long-term partnerships with enterprise clients, ensuring consistent material flow and alignment with their sustainability objectives.
- Build cross-functional influence within enterprise client organizations to widen relationships and connections within target functions, sites and groups.
- Serve as the main point of contact for enterprise accounts, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and fostering trust.
Market Development and Strategy:
- Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, emerging opportunities, and competitor activities in the national electronics recycling and ITAD sectors.
- Develop and execute national business development strategies to expand market share and optimize material sourcing across multiple sites.
- Consistently grow topline revenue and opportunity pipelines within all landed accounts.
Operational Collaboration:
- Coordinate closely with operations and logistics teams to ensure smooth receipt and processing of materials from enterprise clients.
- Maintain seamless communication between clients and internal teams to align on delivery schedules and performance metrics.
Sales Leadership and Reporting:
- Create and deliver tailored proposals, contracts, and presentations to secure high-value agreements.
- Track and analyze sales activities, client engagement metrics, and account performance, providing regular updates to leadership.
- Maintain active and accurate information in provided sales tools like Salesforce and Panda doc.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise sales, business development, or account management, with a focus on large-scale partnerships.
- Proficiency in effective enterprise sales motions.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior decision-makers.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a national or enterprise-level role.
- Familiarity with CRM tools like Salesforce, Microsoft Office Suite, agreement management software and enterprise procurement processes.
- Expertise in ITAD, electronics recycling, sustainability, or the circular economy is highly desirable.
- Willingness to travel nationally to meet with enterprise clients and attend industry events.
