UW Health is seeking a per diem / prn Radiology Technologist for a per diem / prn job in MADISON, Wisconsin. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Radiology Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: Ongoing Employment Type: Per Diem Work Schedule: As needed, per diem. We are seeking a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist – X-ray to: Perform a wide variety of imaging exams on adults, geriatric patients, adolescents, and pediatric age groups using a wide variety of radiographic equipment, computers, detectors, and plate readers. Troubleshoot basic maintenance, participate in QA, and resolve issues related to image processing and the image archiving system. Bring your knowledge to make quick and highly technical decisions in order to accommodate physical restrictions and pathology. Serve as a clinical instructor for affiliated imaging training programs and participate in the instruction of other technologists and visiting health care professionals and may also participate in clinical research Graduate of a School of Radiologic Technology Required Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field Preferred Work Experience Previous healthcare experience Required 2 years of clinical experience Preferred Licenses & Certifications ARRT Radiography (R) certification Upon Hire Required Wisconsin Radiological License within 3 months CPR certification within 3 months Required If Bone Mineral Densitometry is part of the hired role, Bone Mineral Densitometry certification within 30 months Required Our commitment to Social Impact and Belonging UW Health is committed to fostering a workplace that creates belonging for everyone and is an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) employer.
