In this role, you will primarily focus on civil transportation/roadway design, including grading, stormwater management, utilities, pavements, roads, and bridges. You will maintain your professional registration and sign/seal documents prepared under your supervision.
Your Responsibilities:
- Engage in multiple project assignments, prioritize demands, and lead project strategy meetings.
- Develop design concepts, recommend systems, and prepare pricing and proposal documents.
- Identify the basis of design for various civil engineering aspects such as roadway, signing, striping, traffic control, hydrology, hydraulics, utilities, and erosion sediment control.
- Direct technical efforts of project engineers, designers, technicians, and interns.
- Sign and seal design documents when assigned as Professional of Record.
- Assist owners and contractors in interpreting and clarifying construction documents.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Civil Engineering.
- 10+ years of experience in transportation design.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
- Proficiency with Microstation, OpenRoads, and/or InRoads.

Physical and Environmental Requirements:
This role requires mobility to visit various locations, and the ability to stand, walk, kneel, and lift light to medium weights. Good hand-eye coordination and dexterity are essential, along with visual acuity for operating equipment and reading information. The position involves sitting, reaching, talking, and hearing.
