About the Role: We’re seeking a highly energetic and enthusiastic Director of Sales to join our TEAM. If you enjoy building relationships with clients, guests, local partners and have a knack for prospecting, consider this opportunity!
As Director of Sales , you will partner with our exceptional operations team to achieve and exceed our property's sales goals.

Key Responsibilities :
- Client Engagement : Actively promote and represent the hotel's services and facilities to potential clients and customers, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of their needs. Keen understanding of the Moab market.
- Revenue Generation : Through active prospecting and customer retention efforts, develop and implement strategic plans to achieve and exceed individual revenue targets within designated market segments.
- Relationship Building : Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, fostering loyalty and repeat business. Nurture local partnerships.
Qualifications:
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years as a Sales Manager in San Diego, or a similar market. Marriott experience is preferred.
- Education: A four-year college degree from an accredited institution is desired.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Hospitality CRM system (STS, Delphi, etc.)
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and concisely.
- Organizational Skills: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, including timely follow-up on tentative business and development of new opportunities.
- Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a competitive environment and manage interpersonal conflicts professionally.
- Team Leadership:Demonstrated success in leading and coaching Sales teams to exceed targets, enhance customer relationships, and drive revenue growth in fast-paced, competitive environments.
- Group forecasting acumen
- Proven track record of deployed segments, account penetration, speed to market, and closing Group and Business Transient
- Tenacious and proactive Sales approach to finding new business and shifting share
- Brand Ambassador: Maintains high visibility with peers and has strong product knowledge within competitive properties and the hotel community

Base Salary: $88k-$95k based on experience
