VP of Business Development | Stealth Startup | Next-Gen AI & HPC Compute
Acceler8 is seeking a VP of Business Development to join an early-stage, stealth-mode startup founded by engineering minds behind Tesla’s Dojo, AMD’s Zen cores, and Apple Silicon that is pioneering wafer-scale integration and 3D heterogeneous technology to build the future of AI and HPC.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a go-to-market (GTM) strategy for introducing our next-gen compute solutions to cloud providers, data center operators and hyperscalers.
- Own the full sales cycle from early engagement, proof-of-concept, and technical validation to long-term strategic partnerships and revenue generation.
- Build and scale a high-performing sales organization as the company grows.
- Establish deep relationships with key decision-makers at hyperscalers, AI/ML research labs, and enterprise cloud customers.
- Work cross-functionally with engineering, product, and marketing teams to align sales strategies with product capabilities and market needs.
- Drive business development initiatives to create strategic alliances and partnerships that accelerate market adoption.
- Negotiate and structure complex deals with large enterprise customers, managing long sales cycles effectively.
Qualifications
- Proven track record of success in selling data center compute or storage servers or AI infrastructure to hyperscalers.
- Deep understanding of AI/ML workloads, cloud infrastructure, and high-performance computing (HPC).
- Experience defining and executing GTM strategies in deep tech startups or high-growth companies.
- Strong ability to navigate complex sales processes, manage long sales cycles, and close multi-million-dollar deals.
- A strong network within hyperscalers, cloud providers, and the AI/HPC ecosystem.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to engage both technical and business stakeholders.
- Passion for disruptive technology and a willingness to operate in a fast-paced, early-stage startup environment.
