The Opportunity
We are seeking a Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) to join our executive team and lead all aspects of commercial strategy, business development, sales, and marketing. This individual will play a critical role in expanding our presence across key markets, growing revenue through new and existing channels, and building a scalable go-to-market engine.
As CCO, you will be both a strategist and operator—defining high-level growth plans while rolling up your sleeves to drive execution alongside a world-class team.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and evolve the overall commercial strategy, aligning with company vision and market opportunities
- Lead and grow the sales, marketing, and business development teams with a focus on performance and culture
- Deepen relationships with health systems, biopharma, and regulatory partners
- Identify and execute on strategic growth initiatives, including new markets and partnerships
- Work cross-functionally with product, operations, and executive leadership to ensure alignment on go-to-market efforts
- Serve as a key spokesperson and thought leader with clients, investors, and industry stakeholders
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proven track record as a senior commercial leader (VP or C-level) in healthcare, ideally in healthtech, life sciences, or oncology
- Deep understanding of data-driven business models in healthcare (e.g., real-world evidence, health systems, or pharma services)
- Experience leading and scaling high-performance commercial teams
- Strategic thinker with strong operational execution skills
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building ability across diverse stakeholders
- Passion for improving cancer care and advancing innovation in precision medicine
Location & Travel
- This role is based in San Francisco, CA with hybrid work flexibility
- Willingness to travel as needed (~25%) to support business development and client engagement
