Job Overview

A highly respected law firm is seeking an experienced and strategic Partner-Level Attorney to lead its First and Third-Party Property Insurance Litigation practice in Fort Lauderdale, FL. This leadership role is ideal for a seasoned litigator with a strong background in insurance defense who is ready to manage complex litigation matters, mentor a team of attorneys, and drive business development efforts in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Duties

1. Manage and oversee a broad caseload of first- and third-party property insurance litigation matters
2. Develop and implement effective litigation strategies to meet client objectives
3. Represent clients in court, at mediations, depositions, and during negotiations
4. Provide mentorship, supervision, and performance feedback to associate attorneys and staff
5. Maintain and grow client relationships through exceptional legal service and communication
6. Monitor evolving legal trends and developments impacting property insurance litigation
7. Participate in firm leadership initiatives and practice group strategy sessions

Requirements

1. Minimum of 4 years of experience in first- and third-party property insurance litigation
2. Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage attorneys and support teams
3. Demonstrated ability to independently handle complex litigation matters from inception to resolution
4. Business development acumen and an established client service record

Education

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications

Active license and in good standing with the Florida Bar
