THE ROLE

We're looking for a dynamic Director of Strategic Accounts to drive sales of Medscape's suite of products to senior brand managers and marketing teams in the pharmaceutical industry.

This is a consultative sales role, requiring a deep understanding of HCP engagement, digital advertising, and content marketing strategies in pharma.

The ideal candidate will have a hunter mindset-building new relationships, growing existing accounts, and becoming a trusted partner for our clients. Backed by industry-leading sales, marketing, and client support teams, you'll help top pharma brands develop impactful digital strategies that resonate with healthcare professionals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Identify, pitch, and secure new business with pharma brand managers, digital marketing teams, and agency partners.
• Manage and expand key accounts, ensuring long-term strategic partnerships.
• Sell a unique portfolio of digital engagement solutions, including branded content, targeted media campaigns, virtual events, and educational programs.
• Consult with clients to craft data-driven, compliant, and effective marketing strategies.
• Represent Medscape at industry conferences and client meetings across the UK, Europe, and the US.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• 5+ years of proven success in selling digital marketing solutions to pharma (experience with medical device or biotech also considered).
• Strong network of pharma brand managers, digital marketing teams, and tier-one agencies.
• Deep understanding of pharma marketing regulations, digital advertising, and HCP engagement strategies.
• Ability to build trusted, consultative relationships at senior levels.
• Track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Passion for digital innovation and data-driven marketing.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, results-oriented sales environment.
